One of the biggest obstacles to social development in the Global South is lack of gender justice. Despite both academic and action researches, gender equality or even equitability appears distant.
CBSR believes that gender justice can be achieved through capacity building and empowerment of women and other socially-disadvantaged genders to bring them at par with the enabling capacity of the men. In that view, our focus is on health and sanitation through interventions at social, political and physical locales for facilitating and authorizing citizens across the gender spectrum to oversee their rights.
To support gender justice, CBSR undertakes projects and trainings on capacity building and leadership skills, provide gender sensitivity trainings to professionals and focus on awareness generation among different communities to achieve a holistic goal of gender equality.
